Exchange program
English taught minor program elective semester
(third-year Bachelor)
Ever wondered how and why diseases develop? How medicines work, or how we get from medical research to clinical practice? Are you interested in global health in a urban setting? Or would you like to learn more about cancer and immunity, mother and child care, neurology and psychiatry, or movement sciences? From September till December, we offer 10 elective programs (24 ECTS each) that cover a wide spectrum of topics and are open to international exchange and semester in Amsterdam students.

Degree Program
The Master’s program in Oncology
The Master's Program in Oncology trains (bio) medically oriented Bachelor students and related Bachelor students in life sciences to become independent researchers with an in-depth knowledge in the field of Oncology. You will be trained in state-of-the-art techniques in cancer research and therapy in a challenging environment by experts in the field.

Degree Program
The Master’s program Personalized Medicin
The science master Personalized Medicine at the VU focuses on different aspects of clinical research, imaging and personalized medicine necessary to set up and carry out scientific research. In addition to knowledge about different research methods and the use of measuring instruments, the most important statistical techniques needed for data analysis and biobusiness are discussed.
